Bighorn Society is The Crag’s climbing team. This year-round program incorporates the basics of indoor and outdoor climbing, toproping and bouldering, as well as physical exercise and risk management practice. Through technique-based training, peer mentorship, clinics, and just plain fun, our coaches will challenge climbers to push themselves, gain confidence and improve self-esteem.
At the Crag we divide our attention equally among the students, despite skill level, so each person receives the attention that he or she deserves. As a team, we encourage our students to help and support each other.
This class is open to any skill level.
Ages: 10 to 16 years old
When: Tuesday and/or Thursday from 6 to 7:30 pm

SCHEDULE AND INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: With the exception of summer break, all of The Crag’s youth programs follow the Williamson County School schedule for holidays and inclement weather. If school is not in session, we will not be offering programs that day.
We encourage, but do not require, all youth program climbers to become members of USA Climbing and participate in their Bouldering and Sport Climbing competition series. Travel costs and registration fees for climbers and coaches are not included in the monthly training costs. Our goal is to raise money as a team to help defray these costs for families. If your son or daughter is involved in our youth programs and you would like to help us with these fundraising efforts, please let Paolo know.
