Meet Our Guides

Abbey Moore

Abbey found her love for climbing while attending college at The University of the South in Sewanee, Tennessee. Coupled with a degree in Geology and a passion for education, she enjoys teaching both technical skills and climbing technique. Abbey has been guiding as a Single Pitch Instructor for 3 years in southeastern Tennessee, and worked as an outdoor guide & educator before that. When she’s not in the mountains, you can find her going on trail runs with her dog or working with children in the outdoors.

Max Gunther

“For me, rock climbing is an intense athletic activity in the company of good people while you’re surrounded by breathtaking scenery. That is a perfect mix. As a guide, I’m in the ‘memory business.’ I want everyone to have a confidence building experience that they’ll always remember.”
